Welcome to the party!! We are thrilled you are choosing to play a role in our campaign to raise 40k in 90 days. When we reach our goal, we will all celebrate together. Here is our task: raise 40k by January 15th, 2025.

Quick summary points from the two documents:

-Since our founding in 2019 (about 6 years ago), we have raised $310,000. Approximately 75% of this has gone directly to our programs and services (our students and mission). -Out of the 40k we will raise, just over 30k will go directly programs and services, meaning you can be assured that 78% of what you contribute here on this page will go to our programs and services. -We have assisted just over 125 students total in our history

Why is this campaign necessary now?

We have never embarked on a campaign as ambitious as this in our organization's history. The time is now because we are at a transition point where expansion is necessary as a result of the convergence of two events: (1) the ending of grants we were relying on and (2) a record number of assistance requests from students. The Facebook post we made to advertise our assistance opportunities was shared nearly 75 times (check it out here: https://www.facebook.com/rosebudfund), resulting in us distributing nearly $15,000 directly to students in the past couple months alone. And we still have many thousands of dollars in outstanding requests. This record number of requests is without a doubt a blessing, as in means we can impact more students. But in the short term we need to adapt our fundraising strategy to include more contributions from private individuals like you while we search for more grant funding. Additionally, private individuals are our backbone, and we are excited to start developing relationships with new friends and allies!
